When I started in recruiting more than a decade ago (ouch — has it really been that long?!), we were in the midst of a “war for talent” in the IT sector. Candidates could demand huge salary increases, signing bonuses and other benefits that had never been seen in the industry before.
Now there’s talk of another war for talent on the way. Here’s a great article on what might happen and how to be prepared. I have to admit I’m a little scared. It’s already tough to fill some of my current openings.
