Job Fair Success

I recently worked a job fair and let’s just say that not all of the candidates were as prepared as they should have been. A few candidates mentioned that the job fair was the first they had attended and they didn’t know what to expect. Another way to support community organizations

 One of my friends who is a super-woman marathon runner asked me to participate in a local 5K race that’s coming up in November in Frederick, MD. Knowing that I’m a sucker for a good cause, I signed up for the race. The race benefits the Frederick County chapter of the American Red Cross. Since I’m too much of a sissy to give blood, this is my little way of helping an organization that does so much for people in need in our community and across the country. I have to admit that I’m a little nervous about the event. I haven’t been running (or working out for that matter) for a little while because of a foot injury. I’m hoping that...
